Who We Are
The LFRW Mission
LFRW is a grassroots organization meeting regularly in local, regional, and statewide conferences and conventions. We develop and organize efforts and initiatives that promote, support, and preserve the conservative ideals and principles of the Republican Party at all levels of government.
Our History
The Louisiana Federation of Republican Women was founded in 1953 and became affiliated with the National Federation of Republican Women that same year. LFRW is now the largest grassroots women’s organization in Louisiana with 1800 + members and 35 local clubs statewide.
Active Engagement
Operating across 7 different regions of Louisiana, we prioritize membership growth and engagement. Our members actively participate in political campaigns and devise creative fundraising strategies for community projects. We offer various committees and support educational initiatives through scholarships, book donations, and civics programs. Additionally, we honor and support our military personnel through dedicated projects.
Influence & Advocacy
LFRW trains activists, empowering members to influence policy and elect leaders in Louisiana. Many hold political offices and positions on local and state boards. Proud of our leadership development, we actively lobby and engage with elected officials, advocating on critical issues. We believe in Republican women making a difference and invite others to join us in shaping effective governance.
