About Us

The Republican Women of Baton Rouge (RWBR) is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, to developing the potential of women, and to improving the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government. We are actively involved in our community and support many good causes, both financially and through volunteerism.  Projects that we support annually include Newspapers in the Classroom, Dictionaries in the Classroom, Stuff the Bus, and Toys for Tots.  In addition, we contribute to Wreaths Across America and the Magnolia Care Center Veterans’ Home. We also host a forum each year for Republican candidates running for office. Our club meets every 2nd Wednesday of the month at Drusilla Seafood in Baton Rouge.  Doors open at 11 a.m. for a “meet and greet,” and the meeting is called to order at 11:30 a.m.  The cost is $30 and includes meal and a drink.  We strive to have informed speakers with a Q&A following. Please join us!
