About Us

The Republican Women of Franklinton Club was re-established on January 28, 2021. Installation of officers was performed by Madelon Nohra, Region 7 Vice President, of the Louisiana Federation of Republican Women. We can’t thank Mrs. Madelon and Mrs. Linda Begue enough for sharing their insight and encouraging words at the meeting. At our first meeting we gained 13 new members and 1 associate member to officially re-establish our club. Since that time, we have grown! We are currently at 27 members and 16 Associate Members. We are excited about the future and look forward to being a positive influence in our small community. All meetings will be held at the Franklinton Country Club located at 46402 Poplarhead Road, Franklinton, LA 70438. Please join us every Third Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm. If you or someone you know would like to become a member of the Republican Women of Franklinton, or become an associate, please contact our president below.

Objectives

Empower & educate women to take an active role in government. Be a visible & vocal presence in the community & in the legislative process. Recruit diverse, educated, well informed, and articulate women to represent our organization. Prepare them for advocacy in an organized manner.  Establish a communication network through educational and engaging newsletters, as well as, other media Platforms.  Work with elected officials to promote Republican principles & initiatives in government.
