About Us

The Republican Professional Women of St. Tammany (RPWST) is one of several clubs in the St. Tammany area. We are the only club that meets regularly in the evening, making it possible for working women to participate. We host a dinner meeting the 2nd Wednesday of each month with a dynamic program. Speakers include our local and state elected officials, as well as experts in their fields speaking on topical subjects. Our meetings begin at 6:30 pm for networking and social time with the business meeting and dinner starting at 7:00 pm at Tchefuncta Country Club. We are pleased to sponsor several philanthropies each year. Our plans for 2025 include providing $3000 to our Military, $4500 for college scholarships to female high school students and $1500 for our literacy project. Our literacy project this year is MELP (Mamie Eisenhower Literacy Project) and we are thrilled to have two corporate sponsors, The Industrial Group, LLC and Coastal Cargo who will match our budget of $500, making our contribution a minimum of $1500 plus any additional donations. Our annual fundraiser will be a Pickleball Tournament. See photos of the 2024 tournament with Lieutenant Governor, Billie Nunguesser, and Commissioner of Agriculture, Mike Strain, participating in an exposition game.
