About Us

Dedicated to Family, Community and Republican Values
East St. Tammany Republican Women’s Club is located in the Camellia City of Slidell, LA.  The mission of ESTRWC is to aid Republican candidates in achieving their goal of election to the office they seek.  ESTRWC is also dedicated to community service.   Each year ESTRWC awards a scholarship and a Superior Leadership Award in honor of the late Councilwoman Pearl Williams and the late Cecilia Drennan.  ESTRWC educates students from a local elementary school on flag etiquette, the National Anthem and the right to vote.   ESTRWC supports the Troops with various Veteran’s Projects.
Our club meetings are generally the fourth Thursday of the month. Times are usually alternated from lunch to evening and locations vary. Please contact Bridgett Bennett, club president for more information on meetings.

Objectives

– Increase the effectiveness of women and encourage women candidates in the cause of good government.
– Promote an informed public through political education and activities.
– Foster loyalty to the Republican Party and promote its principles and ideals.
– Support objectives and policies of the Republican Party and work for the election of Republican candidates.
